What is your favorite April Fools’ Day Memory

This post almost didn't get written. With everything going on I was having a hard time deciding if this would be a good time to post something about April Fool's Day. In the end, I decided that giggles and laughter are part of the human experience too and we need to have a few every now and then. I wanted to include some of the history of April Fool's Day and a few stories that you might find entertaining. Below you'll see an explanation video from YouTube on how to use these prompts and then, of course, the prompts below. 

Where did April Fools’ Day come from

Some historians speculate that April Fools’ Day dates back to 1582, when France switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar, as called for by the Council of Trent in 1563. In the Julian Calendar, as in the Hindu calendar, the new year began with the spring equinox around April 1. You can read more about the history of it here.
