Legacy on Alexa

Legacy on Alexa

You can now find Legacy on Alexa. I’m jumping all in with this voice thing. So far I’ve immensely enjoyed creating daily briefings for the Alexa Skills I’ve set up. I’ve linked them here with easy subscribe buttons. If you have a request for something you would like to hear, please leave a comment below and let me know. The skills will feature relevant flash briefings for the season/time of year and the day of the week.

Make the most of the 5 minutes you have with the person in front of you through intentional storytelling. These exercises have also been referred to as Medicine Minutes.

The idea being that you have 2-5 minutes with a patient or resident and you can use these scripts to start a storytelling conversation instead of chatting about how crappy they feel and the weather.

These flash briefings will be audio versions of the 5 minute storytelling scripts and tips on how to use them effectively.

This is a daily briefing that includes a prompt you can use for your journal practice right away. Plus a few tips on how to get the most out of your writing time.

It will also feature timely prompts for the beginning and end of the weeks. Look for it to be updated daily 5-6 days a week. Feel free to use them as often and as little as you like. Using a journal is advisable but they are also great things to ponder throughout your day.

This is the podcast on Alexa Skills – Legacy After Dark, where we are helping people work with others to help them tell their life stories. Providing support, training, and easy to use tools to people in the business of caring for others.

Look for this to be updated once to twice a week. It will be a variety of things and cover a wide range of topics.
